How we got here

Since  2012  Andrew has served, first in the Sterling Volunteer Rescue Squad and then, from 2015 he joined the Sterling Volunteer Fire Company.  His discovery of capturing candid photos of firefighters in motion was addictive. 

In 2017 Nathan went to the same fire school and Andrew was there to capture his son’s journey. The 6 months of training offered Andrew the chance to test and hone his skills in poorly lit spaces, at night with emergency lights  interfering with the camera settings, and a host of enviromental challenges. The fire ground offered bright lit sunny days and snowy nights. The worse the conditions, the more Andrew liked the challenge.
